What are some natural (herbal) supplements that are good for fat burning or metabolic increase for people who are concerned about their blood pressure?

The biggest one is actually a mineral called Chromium (which is also in most multivitamins). It helps to boost glucose metabolism among others, so it helps with energy and is often used by Diabetics because of that… but it can be too good for glucose in some cases, so Chromium has a warning to check with a healthcare provider if you’re Diabetic/Hypoglycemic.
There is also a natural product called CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) which is a fat that helps to burn fat. It’s a weird idea, but it works.

There are other natural supplements that give energy that help you workout to burn more fat, but don’t help your metabolism as directly. Also, exercising on a regular basis helps your body naturally increase metabolism on it’s own. Exercising with those two supplements and/or a variety of others will definitely help to burn a lot of fat and are commonly used for weight loss.
Of course, on the flip side, there is no magic pill that will let you burn fat while sitting on the couch watching TV… but once one is made, you know it’ll be the hottest selling product. ;-) Good luck and I hope I helped!

what kind of exercises do they do to look the way they do? do they just exercise and not really eat much? and what do their diets consist of?

How much weight did you gain in the last trimester?

Just wondering how much weight you gained in the last trimester. I’ve already gained 25 lbs and am trying to limit the weight gain to 35 total. I am eating right and exercising so if I do gain more there won’t be much I could have done to prevent it. At any rate, how much did you gain in the last trimester?

i’ve gained 61 pounds total so far, but 26 pounds in my third trimester.

if you mantain your normal diet, but drink a lot of water, you will lose weight. i lost 3 pounds from just drinking the recommended water servings in 1 week.

Would eating A FEW dried apricots (a laxative) each day be a healthy way to lose weight?

No kinds of laxative are a good way to lose weight. They are a good way to help you poop.

However, dried apricots are very good for you and you can eat more than a few a day if you wish, if it works for you, then that’s fine. If it replaces a bad snack like chocolate then all the better!

Best ways to lose weight and tone up in the thighs or upper legs?

i have been using an eliptical exercise machine which helps some but i want to do more to lose weight in my upper legs. i tried on bathing suits the other day and it wasn’t very pretty there….what excersices can i do?

squats! it really works girl:)
just make sure your knees don’t go over your feet – you can see the toes when going/sitting down.

Now we all know we have some of those extra "holiday" pounds we just can not seem to get rid of. My goal is to lose about 10 or 15 pounds within the next month. Even quicker ways like those fluke things that take a couple of days would be appreciated. I have tried things like the Hollywood Diet and i cannot seem to get it down because of the taste, yet the fasting for 2 days thing doesn’t bother me as much. I also cannot do diet pills due to medical reasons. please I need answers quick!

there is no ‘miracle’ for instant weight loss. basic principle is burn off more calories then you take in, eat healthily, and do plenty of cardio. that’s about as good as it gets ha :)

What is the fastest way to lose weight?
I don’t care if it’s not healthy!
I just need to do it in like less than a month.
I need to lose 35 pounds.
I’m 5′2 and I’m 165 lbs.
Yes, that is not healthy.

Losing weight and getting fitter is really quite simple. All you have to do is a few simple things. Firstly, clear your fridge of fatty junk foods. If there’s no temptation, you cannot fall. Secondly, stock up on watermelon and other fruits. Watermelon is excellent because it clears out your digestive system of toxins and waste, leaving you feeling and being healthier. Next, begin exercising every day. Do not go too hard. If running, don’t go fast or uphill, unless you want bulky muscle. A steady pace each day for a minimum of 30 minutes will allow you to shed fat and tone your body. Set a day each week when you each junk food, but try not to go overboard and ruin the work of every other day. Drink plenty of water, often when you think you are hungry, you are actually thirsty. If you are getting cravings, have a glass of water, wait 5 minutes, and then see if you still want food. This usually gets rid of those nasty afternoon hunger pangs for me!
