i want to lose about 20 pounds off my belly and i want some easy ways to do it

Drink ice cold water to help you lose some calories. When ever you get hungry, drink green tea. It gets you full without gaining weight, and it also gives you healthier, cleaner skin. Eat fruits and vegetables, but stay away from canned fruits. Don’t eat any snacks like potato chips, cookies, or cake.

You can keep track of how many calories you take in by writing down the amount on paper. Go to this website to find out the amount of calories are in your meals-

Here are some every day activities I looked up that you can do to burn calories-

-Mow the lawn (30 minutes): 177 calories
-Push a cart around the grocery store (45 minutes): 121 calories
-Plant in your garden: 290 calories per hour (Plus it strengthens your arms and back.)
-Rearrange your living room furniture (30 minutes): 193 calories
-Pack the car for a trip (15 minutes): 56 calories

Take a fitness break: Instead of a coffee run, jog or walk up three flights of stairs—approximately 12 steps per flight. Walk back down; repeat nine times to burn a quick 100 calories.

Stand and deliver: Simply staying on your feet revs metabolism and doubles your calorie burn for the day, a study in Diabetes reports. Sitting for a few hours switches off enzymes that capture fat in the bloodstream, but rising reignites them. So try surrendering your seat when possible.

Aerobics is a great exercise to lose weight and beat stress at work. One hour of aerobics everyday can help you to lose as much as 100 calories a day.

Swimming is also another good way to lose weight. Swimming is one of the best exercises to lose weight for those with breathing troubles, especially Asthma. It improves the oxygen supply to the lungs dramatically and also burns up to 100 calories in just 10 minutes of freestyle, slow to moderate speed swimming in the pool. It has also been seen that people who swim regularly have a flat stomach and good metabolism too.

Another great way to lose weight and gain a lot of strength is by cycling. Cycling greatly affects the muscles in our legs and the abs. A moderate speed, 12 – 14 mph level plain cycling for just 10 minutes every day can help you to lose as much as 90 calories each day. Cycling tightens the muscles in the calves and also feet thereby giving you a higher speed when you run. Cycling has also been found to increase the oxygen content in the body by as much as 20% within 2 weeks of regular training.

I love my body but i could use a shed of a few pounds =)

You cannot do focused or targetted weight loss. You cannot lose weight in just one body area. Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we’ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.

Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few additional small changes – walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.

Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can’t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.

Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate – in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don’t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.

Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.

Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body.

Vary your routines. Don’t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn’t adjust to any one routine.

An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.

I want to shed some pounds, what are the best ways to do so? how should i go about my routine?

Calculate your daily calorie allowance (http://www.webmd.com/diet/calc-bmi-plus), take less than that! exercise to speed up the process. every 3500 calories you lose is a pound out of you!

Normal calorie allowances ranges from 2000 – 2500, try and take at least 500 calories less so that you lose 1 pound every week.

And the most important thing is to maintain your weight, go for inteval training, which is a very interesting and easy workout but the most effective way to burn fat and stay healthy. Do some research on Interval Training.

good luck

Please help! I’m thinking of getting the "Bun N thigh roller" anyone heard of it? Also can you give me some tips of losing weight?

There is no "Easy way" to lose weight. The pills, and wonder products just do not work. The only safe and sure way to lose weight is to change your eating habits and get regular excercise everyday. Start with walking at least 30 min 3 times a day. Also drink 10 8 oz glasses of water a day. It will not only make sure you are hydrated, but it will reduce your craving for food.
Good Luck.
