Should you be able to feel stomach fat burning while running?

I run/walk on the treadmill, and am trying to lose some fat on my stomach. While running, should I be able to feel fat burning or anything? Or should it just feel normal?

no you shouldnt be able to really feel it, probably because running is not an exercise focussed on the stomach area (although dont stop, as it is a great one for your heart and other muscles). sit ups or crunches are a more effective way of targeting that area, you could try doing them on a fit ball (exercise ball) because then you can go further than 90 degrees down as you build up greater strength. make sure you use your core instead of straining your neck and back. good luck!

FYI, when trying to lose weight you need to remember to eat a healthy diet and drink a lot of water.

    Good luck.
