What’s the difference between cardio workout and fat burning? I thought they were the same.?

Also do cardio and fat burning both fall into aerobic excercise and not anaerobic? I think anaerobic is weight training, correct?

The intent of both is somewhat same that is to burn calories. But fat burning is solely intended towards loosing weight by sheding those extra fats on the other hand cardio workout could be intented towards improving stamina, improving flexibility or may be towards general fittness.Well you may also say fat burning is a more intense form of cardio.
Well yes both are a form of aerobics .Anaerobics is intense training using weights that is done to increase lean mass or build strength.

The main purpose of a cardio workout is to exercise your heart. It is a muscle after all! It might well burn fat in the process but the main purpose is to get your ticker all worked up.

Fat burning, could be anything. Running, jumping, dancing like hell in your bedroom to some cheesy 90s song … ANYTHING!

    Hope it answers your question!

That last answer is right, cardio is heart, fat burning can be sit ups slowly, or anything. They say that both are good and needed to stay healthy if you are losing weight. If you are not trying to lose, the cardio is more important.
