<p>to lose weight u need to eat right and have a workout plan 5-6 days a week.u have to want it.<br />
***try this u need to change ur diet.<br />
eat six times a day. ea of ur 3 main meals needs to combine a lean protein such as chicken breast ground turkey turkey bacon egg whts also combine that with a complex carb such as a baked potato or sweet potato wild rice brown rice oatmeal or girts. also add fresh fruit and vegies to lunch and dinner. pick fruits low in sugar like pears and berries. if u get canned vegies get ones with low sodium. eat every 3-4 hrs keep ur metablism moving.<br />
***also the most important part is WATER drink at least 64oz. no soda or juice. water will curve ur cravings.<br />
u need to hit cardio 3-4 times a week running outside it great workout if u can hit a gym and cardio machine is great at least 30mins***<br />
also add weight/strength training 3 times a week.u can google free weight traning guides anywhere. its not hard to find things for free. also for those wanting sexy hot abs. a nice toned stomach comes from a body with low body fat. so if ur overweight and u do a million crunches or any ab workout you r wasting your time!!! cant see the muscles under fat. low body fat equals=a nice flat toned stomach.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For instance, my weight fluctuates. I gain and lose real easily. It shows up and goes away in my face and stomach first every time. Also, I know this really petite girl who&#8217;s small over and has a tiny waist, but her hips and butt are GIGANTIC! She has to buy pants with stretch in them and 3 sizes bigger just to fit her butt, then have them tailored to fit her legs and waist. I&#8217;m actually envious! What is the reason my weight seems to come and go in certain areas, but not as much as in other areas.<br />
<br />i&#8217;d say genetics play a role in how your body ultimately will look, you can&#8217;t expect to have tyra banks&#8217; long legs if it&#8217;s not in your genes, right. i&#8217;m sure your friend has that body shape in her genes. as far as the gain/lose really easily part, that&#8217;s  what happens when you crash diet to lose weight quickly, and then as soon as you give in and have some cake it comes back. losing weight slowly through healthy eating and exercise (esp. lifting weights!) helps to keep the weight off more consistently. if you build up enough muscle mass, then you can have a cookie or whatever once in a while, and not put any weight on. (Since muscle burns way more fat than fat does.) And gaining in one particular spot like the stomach or butt just means that&#8217;s where your body has more fat stores built up.</p>

I&#8217;m mainly trying to lose weight from my legs and stomach&#8230; Not, erm&#8230; other places. xD<br />
<br />You can&#8217;t spot reduce. Your body will lose weght where it sees fit.</p>
<p>1.) Eat right- That is the only way to get good results. None of the &quot;no carb&quot; &quot;no fat&quot; bull####. You need a healthy amount of food. About 1200-1500 calories a day intake if you are trying to lose weight. 1500-2000 a day if you are trying to maintain. You may need to eat more than that if you are active in sports or other things. </p>
<p>2.) Exercise- Here we go. To lose weight or tone up, you need two kinds of exercise.<br />
Cardio- This is any exercise that gets your heart rate up, and keeps it up for more than 25 minutes. Running, Jogging, Bike riding, Swimming, Sports, and cardio machines are great ways to get cardio. You can also try different workout videos. Try renting some first, to see if you like it, and then if you do, maybe purchase it.<br />
Strength- This is any exercise that helps you tone up. Crunches, pushups and many exercises you find that target certain areas are probably Strength exercises. If you are trying to tone up a certain part of your body, visit www.toneteen.com . They have many exercises for target zones. </p>
<p>3500 Calories is equal to one pound. This means if you consume 500 less calories a day, workout for till you burn 500 calories, or do a combnation of the two, you will lose 1 pound each week. Say you cut out 300 calories of food, then you need to burn off 200 a day. Simple, isn&#8217;t it. </p>
<p>There is no fast way to weight loss that will be permanent. What I have written here is a fool proof way to lose weight. Watch what you eat and exercise. If you want to come on here, saying that you have tried exercise and eating right, and it didn&#8217;t work, you did it wrong. </p>

<br />Try to exercise at least a little each day. Do a lot of cardio that gets you up to your target heart rate or above. When you work out, wear heavy clothing, like sweats and underarmor, because the more you sweat, the more calories you burn. Try a variety of exercises, such as abs, back, arms, legs, etc.</p>
<p>Try reducing your intake of fatty foods. Eat many (5-6) well balanced meals every day. Eating more small healthy meals reduces your snacking and also has you eating less than you would eat at larger regular meals. Also, drink a lot of water.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m 17, and 174 lbs. I really need some answers. I want to be at a healthy weight for the first time in my life.<br />
<br />Weight loss is an overall process.  You need to think about many factors.  There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.</p>
<p>Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.</p>
<p>Make a few additional small changes &#8211; walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.</p>
<p>Start a weight lifting routine.  Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can&#8217;t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house.  Invest in a good weight training book.  The Dummies series actually has a good one.   </p>
<p>In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. </p>
<p>Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate &#8211; in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don&#8217;t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. </p>
<p>Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. </p>
<p>Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.</p>
<p>Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. </p>
<p>An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep.  You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.</p>

<p>Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. </p>
<p>An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep.  You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>my little brother is 15 and i think he is looking for ways to lose weight. he isnt very over weight like you wouldnt think he would even be if you saw him but i guess he is looking for a way for his stomach to look thinner and upper chest. he wants to lose about im guessing 10-20 pounds in a healthy way and ideas or suggestions and tips on how to appraoch this.<br />
<br />Eat less junk food. Do some cardio exercises like running or jumping jacks, things like that. And do ab work: sit-ups, crunches, leg lifts all that. And he&#8217;s gotta do it a lot. 3 times a week at least.</p>

<p>If the child is sensitive, it means that they have a reaction to gluten, but not a histamine and not an auto-immune reaction (where I am heading next).<br />

<p>Then there is the autoimmune reaction which is called Celiac or Coeliac disease. This is a genetic, autoimmune disease. There is an antigen reaction by the body when exposed to gluten (the sticky protein in wheat,barley,rye, spelt, triticale, durhum and other related grains in the Triticeae). The resuts and symptoms of the reaction vary from person to person, but usually the reaction destroys the villi in the small intestine resulting in malabsorption and all the issues that go with that.
