I am a cheerleader and i’m 5′7" and 123 pounds. I wanna lose some weight and was wondering if the way I plan on doing it is healthy. I have cheerleading at least 3 times a week usually like 2 1/2 hours of jumping conditioning and stunting. I know this alone won’t work. So if I eat around 1,000 calories a day along with my usual excersize will I be able to lose like 10 pounds?
Don’t cut your calorie intake that much. Combine that with eating a larger breakfast and a smaller dinner. (Also 2 small snacks under a day and lunch)

Look up a BMI calculator. Your BMI is around 19. A BMI of 18.5 and under is considered ANOREXIC. You need to EAT MORE AND TRY WEGITHLIFTING.
If you lose 10 pounds you will be anorexic, no joke.
Eat at least 1,200 calories a day. You may actually need more than that if you start weightlifting. Eat lots of protein and fiber. Break up your daily calories into 6 small meals of 200-300 calories each and drink lots of water. You will actually probably gain weight, but it will be from muscle and not from fat. If you want to keep a more accurate count of how you’re losing fat and gaining muscle buy a tape measurer and measure your body once a week and write the numbers down.
Good Luck! Don’t become anorexic!
Eat more! Move more! Feel and look better!
